Tuition and Financial Assistance Information

St Joseph Consolidated School will be transitioning for the 2024-25 school year to FACTS management for all of our financial services. This will include payments for tuition, class fees, field trips, lunch accounts, CYO sports and other special events.

At this time our Intervention Program, for students with IEPs, 504 Service Plans or intervention needs, for the 24-25 school year is at capacity so we are not accepting any new students with IEPs or 504 Service Plans. 
 
 
Financial Assistance Information 24-25

EdChoice Expansion Scholarship

Any family (Catholic or non-Catholic) with a child/children entering grades K-8, may qualify for a State-sponsored EdChoice scholarship. Families qualify for different levels of scholarship amounts based upon where your family falls within the federal poverty guidelines. Our school is a qualified EdChoice scholarship provider.  Information on the EdChoice scholarship can be found on the Ohio Department of Education website (http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Other-Resources/Scholarships) or please feel free to contact the school office.  The application forms (and specific directions) for the 2024-2025 school year, will be available in the school office when the application and re-application process opens.

Traditional EdChoice Scholarship                                                                                                     This EdChoice scholarship is for new incoming students only (Catholic or non-Catholic). The program provides students coming from designated public schools, regardless of family income, the opportunity to attend participating private schools. Archdiocese of Cincinnati Student Grant (Preschool- 8th Grade)

Thanks to the success of the One Faith One Love Campaign, financial assistance to help cover Catholic school tuition is now available for Catholic and non-Catholic families. Families may apply for student tuition grants through the Catholic Education Fund. While these grants will be need based, a qualifying family will not have to be at a federal poverty level to be eligible. The timeframe for applying for these funds opens on January 8, 2024 and closes on February 23, 2024. To apply, one must complete and online financial assistance application through FACTS https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XB87 FACTS, a third-party company serving the schools and parishes of the Archdiocese, evaluates each application and provides our business manager with a recommended financial assistance amount.

 

St. Joseph Consolidated School Blue Jay Scholarship

If your family needs financial assistance, you will be eligible to apply for a Blue Jay Scholarship.  Thanks to the generosity of good people in our community who value Catholic education, St. Joseph Consolidated School is able to offer financial assistance to a limited number of families each year. The timeframe for applying for these funds opens on January 1, 2024 and closes on March 31, 2025. and complete and online financial assistance application through FACTS https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XB87 FACTS, a third-party company serving the schools and parishes of the Archdiocese, evaluates each application and provides our business manager with a recommended financial assistance amount.

 

Jon Peterson Scholarship  -  Any student who has a valid IEP issued by a local public school district is eligible to apply for a Jon Peterson scholarship. These scholarships cover tuition charges (most or, in some cases, all) and provide additional funding for intervention services.  We currently have an outstanding intervention staff that includes 3 full-time certified intervention specialists, 1 part-time certified Speech and Language Therapist, and 2 part-time teacher tutors/aides to meet the needs of these students.
