Dear Families and Friends of St. Joseph Consolidated School,
It is with great joy and heartfelt gratitude that I welcome you to another wonderful year at St. Joseph Consolidated School. As principal, I consider it a true blessing to lead this extraordinary community of faith and learning — a place that holds deep personal meaning for me and my family.
St. Joseph has always been a very special place to me. I grew up attending Saturday evening Mass with my grandmother, who was a proud graduate of this very school. Some of my most cherished childhood memories include sitting beside her in the pews, learning the importance of faith, family, and service. Additionally, I recently got married at St. Joseph to my husband, who is a Bluejay alumni. Today, I walk the halls not only as an educator but as someone shaped by the legacy and love rooted in this community.
Catholic education has always held a special place in my heart—not only professionally, but personally as well. I am a proud product of Catholic education, having attended St. Peter in Chains School from kindergarten I remember the morning prayers, the uniforms, attending weekly Mass, participating in the choir as well as being a lector and server, receiving sacraments, and creating lifelong memories and friendships. I felt such a sense of belonging in the small, Catholic school communities. The experiences and opportunities provided throughout my Catholic school experience deeply shaped who I am today.
Our mission at St. Joseph Consolidated School is to nurture the whole child — spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially — through a Christ-centered education. We are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and faith-filled environment where students are encouraged to grow into thoughtful, confident, and compassionate individuals. With strong academics, a vibrant Catholic identity, and a focus on character and service, we aim to prepare our students not just for the next grade, but for life.
As we move forward together, I invite each of you — parents, grandparents, parishioners, and community members — to walk with us in partnership. Your support and involvement are vital to our shared mission, and I am incredibly grateful to serve a community so rich in tradition, faith, and love.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children. I look forward to the year ahead, and to all the ways God will continue to bless and guide our St. Joseph family.
With faith and gratitude,
Whitney Schappacher
Principal
