Any family (Catholic or non-Catholic) with a child/children entering grades K-4 (it has been moving up one grade level each year), whose income falls below the 2017 Federal Poverty Guidelines, may qualify for a State-sponsored EdChoice scholarship. Our school is a qualified EdChoice scholarship provider. The EdChoice scholarship covers the full cost of tuition. Information on the EdChoice scholarship can be found on the Ohio Department of Education website (http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Other-Resources/Scholarships) or please feel free to contact the school office. The application forms for the 2017-2018 school year will be available in the school office when the application and re-application process opens again in March.
Archdiocese of Cincinnati Student Grants
Thanks to the success of the One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign, financial assistance to help cover Catholic school tuition is now available for Catholic and non-Catholic families. Families may apply for student tuition grants. While these grants will be need based, a qualifying family will not have to be at a federal poverty level to be eligible. Archbishop Schnurr clearly recognizes that financing a Catholic education is no small commitment for many families. He also recognizes the value of that investment to families, the community, and the Church. Through the One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign, he has taken a strong stand in support of Catholic education. .
St.Joseph Consolidated School Scholarship Fund
Thanks to the generosity of good people in our community who value Catholic education, St. Joseph Consolidated School is able to offer financial assistance to a limited number of families each year. These limited funds are distributed to as many Catholic and non-Catholic families as possible each year based on financial need. The timeframe for applying for these funds opens on December 1, 2017 and closes on February 28, 2018.
