Numerous Shadow Day opportunities for 8th grade students are available by signing up on Badin’s website at BadinHS.org under “Admissions.” Current plans call for the days to take place from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., which includes a complementary lunch. Mask wearing by guests is strongly recommended, and the virus may effect plans as we move forward with the school year.

Bishop Fenwick 

Admissions Information for Fenwick

Register for the HSPT

All students who are applying for admission to Fenwick must take the High School Placement Test. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati will administer the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at Fenwick and other area Catholic high schools on Saturday, November 19.

Students are required to register for the HSPT by November 16. Late online registrations and/or walk-in registrations may be permitted; however, testing accommodations cannot be guaranteed. Apply for Financial Aid

If you are applying for tuition assistance, you need to apply through FACTS. The application must be completed and submitted online. The deadline to submit the application for the 2023-24 school year is November 21. Applications received after November 21 will be reviewed and awards will be allocated based on any remaining funds. Ursuline Academy

We have some exciting events coming up at Ursuline Academy this October that we would love to share with your community.  

Information Session for Prospective Families

Thursday, October 20, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

This event will be held in-person on Ursuline's campus with a virtual option for attending remotely.

*This is the same program held on September 14th and will cover the same information. 

Prospective parents and students in grades 5-8 are invited to join us for an information night to learn more about how Ursuline prepares young women for college and beyond by nurturing their souls, intellects, hearts, and imaginations. You'll hear from school leadership, admissions staff, faculty, and students on topics including:

  • academics and curriculum
  • the benefit of surrounding your daughter with girls who love to learn
  • our counseling department
  • community ministries: campus ministry, community service, and diversity & inclusion
  • clubs and student life
  • athletics
  • performing arts
  • the admissions process
  • and more!

Open House

Saturday, November 5, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Ursuline’s Open House offers prospective students and their families an opportunity to see the school on a student-led tour, meet Ursuline faculty and staff, and explore all that Ursuline has to offer.

Families typically spend one to one and a half hours at the open house.

Fall Musical Grade School Day

Saturday, November 12, 1:00 p.m. (show begins at 2:00 p.m.)

5th - 8th graders are invited to join us for Ursuline's fall musical! Come before the show for some fun activities, dessert, and the chance to meet members of the cast and crew and learn more about the Performing Arts at Ursuline.

5th - 8th grade girls receive free admission to the show. Additional tickets can be purchased at the door (adults - $10; students - $8). Please let us know on the registration form if you plan to purchase additional tickets so we can reserve seats for you.

St. Xavier High School

This HSPT course covers all 5 sections of the test: Verbal Skills, Reading, Mathematics, Quantitative Skills and Language.  The course begins with a comprehensive assessment exam, and the rest of the course focuses on learning content.  By program’s end, students know how to tackle every type of problem on the HSPT – and effectively manage their time and the test.  

The course will be taught on October 29th and November 5th at St. Xavier High School from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 12:30 to 4:30 pm.

Xperience Nights

St. Xavier High School hosts two Xperience Nights (October 18 and 26). Your school and all 7th & 8th grade families will receive an invitation to attend.

 

The evening begins in our Chapel of the Holy Companions at 6:30 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. Parents will hear a presentation about the mission of St. Xavier from a current student, the parent of a current student, faculty member, and an admissions representative – with ample time for questions and answers afterward. Students will learn about St. X by engaging in experiential learning opportunities that will be directed by current St. X students. Your students will also have the chance to have their questions answered. Families have found these nights to be an opportunity to receive in-depth information and hear different perspectives. Parents and faculty often can give a more “on the ground” view of the school. We ask that families register in advance.

 

Open House

On Sunday, November 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. prospective students and families are invited to attend our annual Open House. Tours are given by current students, allowing families time to speak with teachers, co-curricular moderators, and students about their experiences.

 

Shadowing

Shadowing is an integral role in a student’s decision making process. The shadowing program runs from September through December and provides interested eighth grade students with a firsthand experience on campus. Prospective students will be hosted by an Ambassador of Excellence, a freshmen or sophomore qualified to speak on the various aspects of St. Xavier High School. On these days at 8:30 a.m., parents have the opportunity to tour the school and hear a presentation from a St. Xavier representative about programs, tuition assistance, scholarships, and the admissions process. ENTREPRENEURSHIP BOOTCAMP --

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21 AND SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22

Eighth grade students will get to experience the Entrepreneurship Program at St. Xavier High School. On Friday evening students will learn about brainstorming, idea creation, and the development of business models. In addition, they will have a pizza dinner and then have the opportunity to go to the St. Xavier-Life Christian Academy football game (completely optional).  On Saturday students will have breakfast and then focus on how to develop a pitch and how to work in a dynamic group setting, under the guidance of  professional mentors. IMPORTANT DATES:
November 19 - High School Placement Test - All students who wish to attend a Cincinnati Archdiocesan school are required to take the HSPT.  Saint Ursula Academy is a testing site.  Please mark Saint Ursula Academy as a score recipient, even if you take the test at another location closer to your home.  
December 1 - Showcase Night - This event, for parents and students, will "Showcase" the many aspects of a Saint Ursula Education
December 6 - Grade School Basketball Night - Grade School girls are invited to cheer on the Bulldogs as they take on the Lions of Ursuline Academy!  Free admission for students, parents, and coaches.

Shadow Days - Now through December

Be an SUA Bulldog for a Day and shadow a current student through a regular school day. Visit classes, take a tour of our campus, have lunch in the Keller Student Center, and meet future classmates and teachers. The Admissions Team will pair you with a current student with similar interests or taking courses you would like to see. Shadow Days take place on most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from August - December 16.  Register HERE.

 

Showcase Night: November 3 or December 1, 6:30 - 8:30pm
Join us for the evening and hear about the offerings at Saint Ursula Academy! This program for girls in grades 6 - 8 and their parents will “showcase” the many strengths of the Saint Ursula education. Get inside information on academic programs and more. Moeller High School
 

Moeller summer camps are back! 

Hosted by Moeller faculty, coaches and students, Moeller youth camps offer age appropriate activities that encourage skill development, teamwork, curiosity, positive attitudes and a lot of fun – taught the Moeller Way! We offer a wide variety of academic and athletic camps, from robotics to basketball camp and color guard to volleyball camp, for both boys and girls in grades K-12.
